About Moonlight Perennials

Moonlight Perennials is located at 150 Moonlight Drive in Platteville, Wisconsin (hence our name). We started our gardens in 1993, the year after we built our home on a lot that had a sloping terrain.

We've always liked flowers, especially plants that didn't need to be replanted every year. Instead of sowing grass on a potential mowing nightmare we rocked it in, amended the soil and planted a perennial garden. We soon found out perennials not only come back year after year, they bring friends!

After five years of transplanting our surplus flowers in various new gardens around our house we decided, "Hey, let's pot these up and sell them." Tom started selling them to fellow teachers. We started to get phone calls from people who heard we had plants for sale. Soon, customers began asking for advice on how to arrange the plants in their yards and gardens.

We have now progressed to selling plants and designing and planting perennial gardens. We also do some landscaping and lawn maintenance.
